Broken Bliss
They say ignorance is bliss, but I find it difficult to ignore what's going on.
when everything in the world is disintegrating,
And everyone is engrossed in their own tiny fantasies.
We misrepresent what we see and what we are aware of.
We conceal our sadness and never let it show, but in reality, we are terrified, damaged, and lost. Ignorance is just a means for us to avoid facing these feelings.
We ignore the agony occurring all around us.
We distract ourselves with things around us, but the agony remains, it won't go away, and the misinformation we cling to only leads us astray.
We misrepresent what we see and what we are aware of.
We conceal our sadness and never let it show, but in reality, we are terrified, damaged, and lost. Ignorance is just a means for us to avoid facing these feelings.
But we can't continue to live in this lie bubble.
We must confront the truth, widen our eyes, and take action.
Although ignorance may be bliss, it is a temporary high.
The only way out is to face the inner darkness.
We cannot claim ignorance of what we perceive or understand.
We must raise our heads and be honest with ourselves.
There's a chance we're broken, lost, and afraid.
