Maybe we are not "destined" to be great

Maybe all along, we've been lied to and brainwashed

How can everyone be destined for greatness?

Who then is the ordinary man?

Or is there no ordinary man?

If we all are destined to be great

doesn't it mean we are all great?

and if we all are great, doesn't that make us equal?

And if we are equal doesn't that make us ordinary?

Is greatness "ordinary"?

maybe it is

I don't believe we are destined for anything

Or maybe we are destined to wonder.

The shower is my high

and the toilet my thinking chair

and maybe what I'm doing now on it is my destiny.
