The clock ticked on the wall and Tonia turned around in fear as soon as she heard the click of a door.

She could feel the heat all around her as she ran to the depths of the stair way.

The man dressed in black clothes watched as she scurried but he knew she wouldn't get far.

"One, two, three, four and five," he broke into a sing song voice, "six, seven and eight!"

He walked around the living room pretending he hadn't seen her run.

"Little pig, little pig, let me in and the little pigs cried 'not by the hair of my chimney-chin-chin will I let you in' but the big bad wolf said 'then I will huff and I will puff till I blow your house down; then he huffed and he puffed till he blew the house down'. That's quite a lovely story-" he said and chuckled.

Tonia held her mouth as her eyes shimmered with tears.

From the wall, a hand grabbed her hand and she shouted in fear.

The man smiled with delight as he appeared before her, his eyes blood red.

"I win," he said as his knife tore the skin off her neck.

He giggled in delight as she pressed onto her neck, a futile effort.

He waited till she could barely breath before he ripped her heart and lungs out of her lithe body.

Her blood crawled over his fingers and a sense of satisfaction filled him with glee. He watched her heart - which was still beating- with fascination before sinking his teeth into it and savouring it's taste.

His eyes rolled back and in place of bloody eyes, they became brown.

He tucked the lung into his coat before walking out of the house where - unknown to him- cops were already waiting for him with guns.
