December is here again,

Dusty air so thin it slices nostrils as we try to breathe it in

The streets are fuller, the smiles wider, the ache in our souls deeper, but faces plastered with grins

December is here again,

A blanket of fog so thick it obscures the horror, the crime and the sins

For 1 month a year we ignore, act oblivious to the sorrow, the pain, the trauma so deeply engrained into our person, an individual peculiarity, just like the grooves on our brain.

But Hey! December is here again.

So who’s going to save christmas? Show the misguided what its truly about

So who’s going to save Christmas? Teach the wicked and corrupt what it means to be human, hoping and praying they change overnight, take it to heart and end this happiness drought

So who’s going to save christmas? Certainly i wont be saving christmas i can barely save myself, so i guess its up to family and friends to spread happiness across this wretched piece of the common wealth.

But smile, laugh and dance,December is here again.

I tried saving christmas time and time again way before Christmas could even begin to begin

But i was thwarted at every turn and opposed, degraded, threatened to be torn limb from limb

So who’s going to save Christmas? I think no one should, lets focus on saving ourselves, maybe start by looking within.
