New beginnings don’t just happen, they are planned, carefully curated and strategized; these are the things I am doing this year.
The first time I saw the motto, “don’t gree for anybody”, I laughed.
But then, I asked to myself, don’t gree for who exactly?
I am a lazy person, I like doing things when I want to, how I want to. Due to this, I look for the most convenient way to execute a task, which includes planning.
I love to plan. It arranges my thoughts, reduces mental stress and anxiety.
When the thoughts in my head are arranged, with everything put in its place, I can function effectively.
When I found out I work better with planning, I decided to adopt, “the 12-week year” program.
It is an arrangement and planning strategy, where you arrange things to achieve in a year, but you sum up your year, into 12 weeks.
It sounds crazy, I am sure. But I have adopted this, and for these few weeks, it has been going amazing for me. I have time to learn new skills, time for work and I can achieve as much as I can in 12 weeks.
This is something new that I have never tried this before; like I said, I am lazy. But this gives me hope.
This is my attempt at “not gree-ing” for myself, this is my new beginning, and I am excited to see the results.
