New beginnings

I have always been excited by you and what you hold for me.

I like how clean and promising you look, it fills me with so much hope and inspires me to dare.

There’s a level of mindfulness and intentionality that is peculiar to just you.

You make letting go so easy because you offer me a wide array of possibilities.

You leave no room for regrets, you realign my focus to the present and offer me a chance to detour in the right path.

Just like the sun rise, you have a calming effect on me.

Well, it only makes sense because the sun rise is the beginning of a new day and that, should be in every way qualified a new beginning.

Now that I think of it that way, perhaps this is my clue that I can enjoy of your effect daily.

I do not have to associate you to big events or milestones like starting a new job or a new school or a new phase of life.

Why wait for giant leaps when I can enjoy of you in daily tit bits like when I open my eyes to a new day and see the sun rise.

You’re right there and I can glide on the 9th cloud feeling of having you just as I do in those mega moments.

In this new year, I’m not limiting you to this first month.

I want to embrace you daily and make the most of your good spirit and all you have to offer.
