Valentine's day A.K.A. Mission to get my man back.

I hated Valentine's day because it was the day the love of my life left me for another woman. It was such a simple breakup.

"You're nice but it won't work for me".

A simple line made by a simple man.

At first I thought I might have pressured him too much, posting love memes and reposting my friends' Valentine packages. So I waited.

Two weeks of me bombarding him with love gestures and reassuring messages turned out to be futile. He would listen to my voice notes, read my texts and eat the treats I sent to his house, his office and one time when he when on a field inspection.

Another two weeks passed in silence so I turned obsessive. Not one known to be bold, I would send him pictures of lips, eyes, the hem of my dress and one time, when I was feeling particularly bold, my lower thigh. I was a force of temptation, hahaha.

I wanted him back. Badly. Partly because he was the only one for me and partly because he was extremely perfect. Anyone would be snatching that up in a second and heavens forbid my cloth will be on another person's body.

It's another Valentine's day, but I love this one. And only because it's a huge chance to impress and get back my absconded man. I know he loves reading so he'll definitely read this.

I love you so much honey, more than that girl on your profile picture. I did a food tray and ordered a ride in the cheapest private jet I could find. I also decorated a room in your favorite colour, though it was hard to find green flowers so you'll have to forgive me for the intrusion of red in your presents.

I'll move heavens for you and dig out the whole Earth if I had to.

It's been a year and I because I know you so well I'm sure you miss me but you're feeling guilty for marrying another person. Don't bother your pretty head over getting my forgiveness. It's all in the past. It never even happened. And in case you're also scared that I've moved on, don't be afraid my love. Move on, keh? When I have all I need in you.

I love you, okay? Call me when you see this my honey bunch.
