Yet, I hold a subjective stance on this matter. There are undoubtedly astute minds within the political sphere who have diligently garnered experience and knowledge in specific areas. It would be a disservice to dismiss them solely based on their political portfolios. When considering a candidate's suitability, crucial questions should be raised: Were they effective in their roles? Do they possess the necessary competence? What is their track record? Did they serve the country or their own interests?

These inquiries should lead us to differentiate between those who genuinely served the nation and those who merely served their own interests. Nigeria's attitude towards leadership is in need of awakening. Shallow-minded individuals entering public office with little regard for the nation's well-being should not be the norm. As citizens, we must demand leaders and public officials who are visionaries, committed to actualizing positive change.
