Home
They say home is where the heart is
But where is mine?
My heart is shattered to pieces
Does it render me homeless?
Home is where I can be in a bosom
And smile
Home isn’t just a shelter to sleep
It’s a place where we share
Our last laughter and cries
Home isn’t where you try to hit me
Because of a broken radio
Home isn’t where you spew hate
Home is where we’re all upset
Yet we try to make a way through
Home is where I am safe enough to be vulnerable
Home is where you accept me
And we make a mosaic
Cause that’s the beauty of life at the
End of the day
Home is where we compliment each other
