What is noise?

  • Wikipedia defines noise as an unwelcome sound that is loud, unpleasant, or otherwise disruptive to hearing.
  • Any obstruction to effective communication between sender and receiver is referred to as noise in communication studies and information theory. It is a distortion that obstructs the transmission and reception of information during a discourse.

Where is she heading with this? You may be wondering…

You can infer from the definitions given above that noise absolves itself of positivity.

It is a diversion, a trap, and a stubborn impediment.

Do you think I’m being overly dramatic?

Now, why do travelers in Nigerian airports have trouble hearing the speakers that announce their flights?

Actually, those irritating, loud, and distorted speakers could cause you to miss your flight.

When you were a child, you could be associated with noise as much as you wanted, but noise is bad for an adult’s transformation.

You will experience all types of noise as a result of your environment, lifestyle, relationships, etc., but your growth and sanity are protected by your conscious effort to stay grounded.

The adjective “grounded” denotes something that is rational and well-balanced.

Being firmly established in your own principles, relying on the authority of your own path, and disregarding the obtrusive sirens of other people’s lifestyle and opinions, are all characteristics of being grounded.

Whatever the struggle of infinite pursuits is that you find yourself in, noise is always there to propel you into the maelstrom.

A steady mind will be comfortable and confident in its capacity to navigate this battleground and prevail with a few scrapes.

You are anchored when you have faith in the durability and development of your decisions.

When you are grounded, you are committed to a spiritual practice that springs from your individuality and roots.

You are now immune to the weapons of social influence, such as the yays and nays of validation and compliance, thanks to this “grounded” fortification.

What if you release yourself from the obligation to maintain your grounding?

What if you lose your personality by listening to noise?

What If you put yourself through acts of foolishness?

What if you lose opportunities and undercut your intelligence?

What if you stop growing and become worthless?

What if your moral decadence caused you to inflict harm on your loved ones?

You get where I’m headed, right?

Break out of the societal illusions and false beliefs.

Wear the hat because the ribbon makes your skin pop and you want to.
