What makes us humans? The blood that flows through our veins? The organs that perform its everyday task no matter how miniscule it may seem? What happens if our humanity is stripped away in a second, leaving us bare and barren, empty as a desolate wasteland? Are we the blueprint or do we have replicas in various dimensions across the universe?
As humans, do we think we exist in this plane alone? If yes, how selfish would that make us, the very bane of our existence laced with greed and selfishness. If no, how unimportant do we have to be not to receive these ‘visitors’ from outer space. Some may say we receive these visitors but are intercepted by the United States Government. Ah, yes, the visitors only land in the land of the free just like in their movies. Do we just have main character syndrome?
Close your eyes, open them and imagine the following
All seven billion humans melted like wax; all organs blended together. The dream of the creator of the human centipede but with a bigger imagination. Seven billion humans are all morphed into a giant humanoid irrespective of status and race. The goal? To fight off the alienoid from another galaxy.
This humanoid is so gigantic it shakes the very core of the planet, oceans are mixed into the palm of their large palms, cave man grunts are made occasionally, and this humanoid defies gravity.
Now imagine this humanoid, a higher specie of humans’ glides through space and time, to fight off a future threat in another galaxy. a threat that will come to the human race in a million light years’ time, but they want to get rid of it now.
We have a final face off with this alienoid who is morphed as well. Who will win? If you say the humanoid, then it could be seen as having the main character syndrome as humans have. If you agree with the alienoid, it would be seen as a traitorous act.
It could be a stalemate; both lose and end themselves Leaving their galaxies devoid of talking beings. Who knows it could be a fresh start to life again, free from all advancement and the end of the human race. The beginning of freedom for creatures beneath us.
