Sometimes, I Am More Than One Thing
People often ask me why I do so many different things.
Why am I learning healthcare courses when I am not yet a doctor?
Why do I spend my time writing when I could focus on something else?
Why do I write songs when I am not pursuing a career as a musician?
For a long time, I struggled to answer these questions. I felt pressured to fit into one box and define myself with a single title. But as I grew older, I realized that purpose does not always follow a straight line.
Sometimes, I am a healthcare learner—not because I want to learn everything about medicine today, but because I am preparing for my dream. Deep within me is a desire to one day study Medicine and Surgery, to become someone who can save lives and bring hope to people in their most vulnerable moments. Every healthcare course I take is not just another certificate; it is another step toward that dream.
Sometimes, I am a writer—not because I want people to call me the best author in the world, but because I have seen the power of words to heal, inspire, and transform lives. Through DATTLEECO LIMITED, I have had the privilege of mentoring emerging writers and helping others find their voices. My success is not measured by how many books I write, but by how many people discover the courage to tell their own stories.
Sometimes, I am a songwriter—not because I am trying to become a famous musician, but because some emotions cannot be spoken; they have to be sung. I write lyrics that reflect pain, hope, faith, struggles, and dreams. Even if no one asks for them, listens to them, or ever checks them out, I still write. Because creating is part of who I am.
I have learned that not everything we do is for applause. Some things are preparation. Some things are service. Some things are simply expressions of who we are.
The world often encourages people to specialize in one area, but I believe that human beings are capable of carrying multiple passions, dreams, and callings. We do not have to choose between being compassionate and creative, between being leaders and learners, between inspiring others and pursuing our own growth.
My journey has taught me that purpose is not about becoming what others expect you to be. It is about becoming who you were created to be.
I may not have all the answers. I may still be learning, growing, and discovering myself. But one thing I know is this: every course I take, every writer I mentor, every lyric I write, and every challenge I overcome is shaping me into the person I am meant to become.
I am not learning healthcare just for certificates; I am preparing for a dream.
I am not writing just to be recognized; I am inspiring others and developing writers through DATTLEECO LIMITED.
I am not songwriting for fame; I am giving life to emotions and stories that deserve to be heard.
And maybe that is enough.
Because sometimes, purpose is not found in titles or recognition. Sometimes, purpose is found in the quiet commitment to keep growing, keep creating, keep serving, and keep believing.
I am not trying to fit into one box.
I am simply becoming everything I was created to be—one step, one lesson, one story at a time.
